Deutsche Bank loses Southeast Asia investment banking chief. Parvati Banati, Deutsche Bank’s investment banking head for Southeast Asia, has recently left the firm. Who will be replacing him or where he will be working next is currently unknown. Parvati was a five-year veteran of the German bank, having joined Deutsche from UBS back in 2010. Reuters
RBS axes entire Hong Kong, Singapore DCM teams. In an effort to downsize the firm’s operations in the region, the Royal Bank of Scotland has made its Hong Kong and Singapore debt capital market teams redundant. Global Capital
Standard Chartered lands DCM chief from RBS. David Yim, managing director and head of Asia debt capital markets for the Royal Bank of Scotland in Hong Kong, will be joining Standard Chartered Bank as the firm’s new head of Greater China debt capital markets. He will begin working there on August 17, and is set to report to Aaron Russell-Davison, StanChart’s head of DCM. Finance Asia
