After teasing them for a week, CoinMarketCap, the world’s most popular crypto data site, announced the launch of two new apps.
The two new apps are their first-ever Android app and a revamped version of their iOS app. They reportedly feature a “full experience” and incorporate elements not included in the main website, such as portfolio tracking, candlestick charts, side-by-side cryptocurrency comparisons, and price alerts.
Users can even sign up for a CoinMarketCap account through the app, allowing them to log in and save new portfolios and watchlists. The company plans to add this feature to the site as well, making for seamless syncing between app and site.
Other new features include a losers and gainers section, exchange charts, and news tailored to the user’s activity, while data from the site – market capitalization ranking, sparklines, detail pages, and others – are fully accessible as well.
Carylyne Chan, Global Head of Marketing at CoinMarketCap, said that they “are excited to finally announce a mobile experience that we are proud of,” adding that they “believe that our users will like the new style and the features we’ve added to these apps, and we’ll continue to update the app regularly based on the feedback we receive!”
