EVO Capital Management hires former JP Morgan trading head
Hong Kong-based Michael Green, JP Morgan’s former head of Asia-Pacific Cash Trading and Execution Services, has been hired as head of Asian trading by EVO Capital Management Asia, according to Opalesque.
EVO Capital’s founder, Michael Lerch, had this to say about his new hire:
“As the interest in equities across the region further intensifies due to the ongoing structural deregulation and growth, Mr. Green will play a key role in expanding EVO’s platform. He brings a wealth of industry and regional experience with him to the role.”
Green was responsible for JP Morgan’s trading desks in Japan, Australia, and Hong Kong as well as the syndicate business for deal pricing during his stay at the firm. Prior to that, he spent over 13 years at Merrill Lynch, where he held a number of key roles such as Head of Regional Trading and Head of Japan Equities.
As with his prior firms, EVO will base Mr. Green in Hong Kong.
