KKR names senior advisor. KKR has appointed Dominique Lafont as a senior advisor for the firm. Lafont is the former president and CEO of Bollore Africa Logistics. KKR is putting more effort into building its Africa business.
SAC Capital vet joins Deimos. Paul Orwicz has joined multi-strategy hedge fund Deimos Asset Management as a portfolio manager. He will be focused on technology, media, and telecommunications. Orwicz worked at SAC Capital and Point 72 for 13 years.
