    J.P. Morgan names general counsel. Stacey Friedman will replace Steve Cutler as general counsel at J.P. Morgan. Cutler will remain at the bank as vice chairman, replacing Jimmy Lee. Friedman has been serving as general counsel of J.P. Morgan’s corporate and investing banking unit. Lee died suddenly last month. Reuters

    AXA global trading head departs. Christophe Roupie is leaving AXA Investment Managers to become CEO of a family-run business in Switzerland. Roupie has worked at AXA for more than a decade, most recently as global head of trading and securities financing. Paul Squires will fill Roupie’s AXA role. Securities Lending Times
