Four former top executives at Barclays in Hong Kong are setting up an investment bank that will focus on advising clients on cross-border deals, according to Reuters, citing unnamed sources.
Ed King, Johan Leven, Helge Weiner-Trapness and Peter Ding, all well-known investment bankers in Asia, will launch the new company in the coming months, the report said. They left Barclays last year when the bank announced job cuts worldwide.
