The world’s largest crypto exchange appears to have started the year with a bang.
Binance announced on Friday (h/t Coin Telegraph) that it has opened trading for six Euro pairs.
Effective that morning, users can trade the Euro against Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple XRP (XRP), and Binance’s own Binance Coin (BNB).
Users also get to trade the currency against two stablecoins, namely Tether (USDT) and Binance’s dollar-backed coin, Binance USD (BUSD).
Interestingly enough, the Euro pairs came a day after Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao promised to add support to “all 180 fiat currencies” in 2020.
“One of our key goals for 2020 is to bring crypto to the masses,” Zhao wrote in his New Year message. “For this, we aim to enable fiat-to-crypto trading for 180+ fiat currencies.”
